Cotton and fuel continue to go through the roof!
Our industry has been dealing with shortages and continual increases on all products derived from cotton for several months now. The global cotton market continues to experience instability marked by sharply rising prices for cotton and yarn that are resulting in shortages of supply of raw materials and finished goods. The rising cost of fuel has also contributed to the increases we are currently seeing. Cotton prices have soared, and there are no guarantees that the new harvests will yield enough cotton to bring supply and demand into line. We are hopeful that there will be relief in the near future.
In addition to the continued rise in the cost of raw materials, we are trying our best to overcome the general lack of product. Our goal is to fulfill the needs of our customers, but at this time we have no choice but to pass on the increases that we have tried so hard to mitigate.
We cannot guarantee to hold pricing for any particular length of time since we are seeing increases on a weekly basis.
